General Project Scope
- Removed existing roof
- Replaced with 2 ply modified bituminous roof system
- Installed new flashing, counter flashing, roof accessories and pre-fabricated roof curbs
- Installed pitch pans
Logistical Challenges
The biggest logistical challenge with this contract was adjusting our work schedule based on the Superdome event schedule. Each time there was an event our crew had to demobilize operations. As the contractor we were on standby for each event in case of an emergency. The unusual work conditions continued during regular working hours as pedestrian control proved to be a challenge. Our company appointed a spotter to direct foot traffic away from the site work. Overall, the project was completed on time and to the owner's satisfaction.
