General Project Scope
- Removed existing roof
- Replaced with Carlisle SynTec TPO
- Installed new flashing, counter flashing, roof accessories and pre-fabricated roof curbs
- Installed pitch pans
- Rebuild expansion joints
- Install skylights
Logistical Challenges
The biggest logistical challenge with this contract was not affecting normal business operations. This building is an Army and Air Force warehouse service center for the eastern seaboard for bases—the warehouse distributed food to commissaries. Access proved to be an issue as one side of the warehouse was a loading dock; the remedy was to stage materials and dumpsters on one side of the building and transfer products as needed. Overall, the project was completed on time and to the owner's satisfaction.
